Josephine graduated from Glasgow university in 1987 and worked as an associate in the Albert Road practice before taking over ownership in 1995. She is actively involved with the British Dental Association and was president of the West of Scotland Branch in 2003-2004. She was Vice-chair of the BDA’s Scottish Dental Practice Committee and also served on Scottish Council liaising with Scottish Government on dental policy. She is a past Chair of GG&C LDC steering dentists through the challenging times of Covid -19. She remains an elected representative to that committee. She was the dental consultant for Cigna Healthcare for 32 years and a past president of the Glasgow Odontological Society 2020/2021. Dentistry is her job and her hobby.
She has recently reduced her practice commitment to two days a week as a succession plan to retirement in the future.
